The Suit | My Favorite 2020 Spring Trend

The Suit Trend is a buzz! All kinds of suits are making headlines; including the three-piece suit trend & the business casual trend of suits paired with Bermuda shorts. Suits of all colors & textures made the Spring 2020 runways! Are you a fan of the trend as much as I am, friend? I’ve rounded up some of my very favorites for you on this blog post! I love seeing people and myself in a nice suit because it creates a beautiful silhouette. You can always elevate the look by the shoes and bag you choose, and at the same time you can tone it down with a pair of sneakers for a more casual, going out to brunch, type of situation. Having a few colors in your wardrobe will always be a classic staple you’ll pull out time and time again!

This Spring, don’t be shy, and wear the suit in the most ways you possibly can! You can also take the blazer and pair it with different bottoms like giving a jean and teeshirt a level up! & Pro-Tip: Belting oversized blazers makes them ultra-chic because they now are “tailored” to your body.

I have always always loved the idea of a suit but felt like I didn’t have anywhere to wear it. Last Sunday I paired two miss fit pieces and made my own. Wow. I instantly felt chic and elevated. I found this blazer circa 2015 in the sale rack of H&M and never really wore it until one day I put a belt around the piece. So now, even if I’m just going to Target, why not give the suit trend a try!? Right? Getting dressed in my eyes is an expression of what I feel or want to feel! I love that I’m learning to break the barriers in my mind about what I should and shouldn’t wear because I don’t have a fancy place to go to. Dressing well makes me feel absolutely confident and it changes the way I show up. So bring it on Spring 2020, I’m about to wear suits Monday through Friday! And even on SUNDAY! Okay maybe a bit overboard but you get my excitement?!
