Friend!!! I am so delighted to share one of my latest projects in collaboration with Volume 14 of Eloquent Woman Magazine! It was my honor to be a contributing Beauty and Fashion Editor for the Summer issue and it was one of my favorite projects, ever! We created an absolute dream of a Summer spread with all the Natural, Sustainable, Clean Beauty vibes!
And Karina Banda on the cover! I had the pleasure of styling her very neutral and elegant looks while on location in her beautiful home in Miami, Florida: Alongside celebrity photographer Christopher Esqueda, Makeup and Hairstylist Jonathan Jimenez, Diego Castro as photographer’s assistant, and Jessica Decote as editor and Alberto Gomez as PR. It was an amazing team of extraordinary people and an experience I will never forget! They always say you grow most when you’re out of your comfort zone and this I did. I grew, made many mistakes, and learned from it all! What a precious gift!

It’s no secret that I’m a lover of neutrals. I discovered a way to shop for my closet that really supports my life. I made it a point to stop buying just because and became intentional about what I brought into my wardrobe. As I brought home more and more basic neutral pieces into my closet, I began feeling so supported by my clothes! I had things to wear and I could accessorize them differently to make different outfits and no one would be privy to the fact that yes, girl, I just wore that top yesterday. Maybe I washed It, maybe not… but I am saving money and time. But most importantly I feel like I have what I need and a lot of the stress of getting dressed has really gone away!
I believe in having things that will support your lifestyle and if you’re anything like me, you love neutrals and a classic, minimal style. Below are all the Summer Wardrobe Staples I believe will make your getting dressed each morning a delight!

This list was carefully curated by our team and I believe that everything on this list is somewhat of an essential summer piece, especially if you live somewhere super hot like Sacramento! I chose mostly natural fabrics such as linen and cotton to help you be comfortable and your clothes breathable through these hot Summer months! I used to abhor these hot conditions back in the day when I sported jeans and polyester in 108-degree weather.
As I am maturing and finding my unique style, more classic and full of anchoring neutrals pieces are making their way into my closet! I find that pieces with natural fabrics are so cool, versatile, and can match with anything in your wardrobe as far as accessories go!
