Lipstick has always been one of my favorite makeup products to apply in my “getting ready” process! It’s the fastest way to add drama, extravagance, or a little somethin’ -something’ to ANY outfit! Our spirits can go from 0 to 100 with the right lipstick!
Today, I have four makeup looks for your different holiday party circuit, ranging from cute and nude shades to bold red statement looks! I’ve given you the breakdown of all the makeup used for every look below.
You are going to LOVE these shades and textures from LANCOME, they are truly unique lipsticks and I have established some of my favorites for the Holiday season and the NEW YEAR to come!
These lipsticks are all from LANCOME and they all come from their Holiday Sets for 2022! This is the L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick in 253 Mademoiselle Amanda.
This one is my ultimate FAVORITE! The color is just gorgeous and the finish and texture are divine! It’s a comfortable cream finish and it really is so comfortable and juicy on the lips. Applying this is so enjoyable and the color on my unique skin color is gorgeous! A nude like I’ve never tried before. So nice to give a wash of color but doesn’t make me look dead like other nudes tend to do! This is a great lipstick if you’re just wanting a little wash of color for your Holiday party, paired with a cozy cardigan like this one! And something you can reapply easily throughout the day. While the turkey is baking, and even without a mirror!

Lancome Cream Lipstick | French Tea
This is the L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick in 274 French Tea! It is a gorgeous cream finish and the color is absolutely stunning if you love those warm sienna colors this is the right fit for you!
This specific formula has hyaluronic acid for a hydrating experience as you wear it! It is totally a good choice if you love the feeling of lip balm on your lips! This one will need a mirror to re-apply but it will be worth it!

You can see how lovely the color is for a warm-toned makeup look. Use this shade to give a black outfit softness or use it for a nude and brown-toned outfit to compliment the look even more! Lancome matte Lipstick | MERCI SIMONE
This is the L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte Lipstick in Merci Simone 290! It’s a little bit different for my gals out there who would rather have longevity and a Matte finish!
You can still gloss this up if you don’t prefer the Matte finish but it’s still a gorgeous shade for those of you wearing black or white to your Holiday Party. It’s a light-burgundy pinky color that just fits so well for a party night!
This is a great fit for those of you who are choosing the sparkle dresses like this one! Or sequence, and glitz with your outfit and not your makeup! You can smoke out your eyes with a nice gray-toned eye shadow or leave your lids blank and go for a bold winged eye-lined look!

Lancome matte Lipstick | rouge pigalle
L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte Lipstick in Rouge Pigalle 82! It’s one of the MOST beautiful reds I’ve ever worn! And I love the ease of application, due to its matte formula and the precise tip of the lipstick! And as a plus; it gives me white teeth vibes because of the blue undertones of the formula! I love this in any red lipstick!
This one will most definitely need a red lip liner to go with it and applied before the lipstick! Ensure the best red lipstick application by exfoliating your lips (mix sugar and honey and gently rub circles on your lips) during your skincare and applying a good lip balm throughout your makeup process. When you’re ready to apply; wipe the balm from your lips and apply the red lipliner first and then the lipstick! Voila!
This is one of my favorite shades of red for the Holiday Season, especially when paired with a gorgeous green velvet dress like this one!
But no matter what you wear this Holiday Season, I hope you know you are ENOUGH. All of you. The un-glamoured you, the exhausted you, the I don’t want to get ready you. The extra you. All of you IS enough and you belong! I pray that you would get READY to celebrate what God did on your behalf on the cross! He laid down HIS life so you could have yours.
