There are so many things I am grateful for; including this Dior-inspired skirt, I got from Amazon for $32! I love how it looks for a Thanksgiving outfit! You can pair it with a gold button cardigan and black mary jane pumps! However, you can wear it so many ways and this is also a great fit for your Christmas or any other holiday outfit as well!

Besides adorable and affordable fashion! I am ALSO grateful for so many other things. Hahaha If I really listed out all the ways I am thankful; I think I would be on my way to writing my 3rd book! When I look back on my life all I can say is THANK YOU GOD for all you have done! It’s an incredibly humbling act to list out every single thing you are grateful for and it really does transform the atmosphere of the heart. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the mercy God has had on me. The way he has changed my mind and the way he has healed my soul. I look back at the girl I was and the woman I am now doesn’t even compare. Not that I was less worthy of love back then; the Lord’s love never changes based on how much we change. He loves unconditionally and to all. However, the quality of my life inside my own mind, body, and spirit has been upgraded like nothing else.
I’ve gone from a PTSD-riddled, anxious, and depressed woman who was scared of anything and anyone, to a secure within herself, steady, and faith-filled woman who trusts in JESUS above anything else. My life looks so different yet only the insides of me have changed (for the most part my exterior circumstances have not changed much) when we change, everything changes. There is a lot of thankfulness in my heart for the tangible things in my life for sure. I am grateful for my home, my bed, my car so on and so forth, but what I am MOST grateful for are the precious relationships God has gifted me with. It’s those relationships I get to share and receive love from that really matter to me. I encourage you today to take inventory of all the tangible and relational gifts God has given you. Especially the one of himself towards you.
I am so grateful for YOU. It’s been eight years since I started writing this blog. In fact, it is our anniversary this month! And what I’m most grateful for is the ability to get to write to you every week. It’s been an incredible journey for me to learn so much about myself trying to encourage YOU. Hahaha. How funny is it that my wanting to help you inevitably helps me? All the lessons I’ve learned that I want to teach you, I need to hear more than you do probably! All the lessons I share with you are in hopes that I would get inspired to stay the course as well. To not just be alive but actually LIVE our lives. Thank you for giving me a way to stay motivated to show up for my life over and over and over again.
There have been so many times in the past eight years that I’ve wanted to quit and then God would use one of you to tell me how this blog had made an impact on your life and that was all I needed to keep going. To know that if it was helping even ONE person, it was worth the trouble to keep on writing and showing up. I’ve learned so much about myself through this blog and I thank you for being a part of the journey. May you know that God loves you so much and that whatever he has placed in your heart as your life’s mission, he is trustworthy! Have faith in him he is never going to lead you wrong. Follow him and his life will become a light to yours.
Have a very wonderful thanksgiving! I am so grateful for you!
