Classy Church Outfit For Fall 2020
Classy Church Outfit For Fall 2020
When you think of classy or classic what comes to mind? For me, it’s a beautiful polished look that leaves room for you to shine. I love wearing sophisticated and classic outfits because they feel so timeless and doable at any budget. One thing that I love is pairing a navy blue pant with a cream pullover sweater. Those two colors to me are the epitome of a classic outfit. I love navy blue for its richness especially as we finally are getting some real Fall-like weather in Sacramento! I was cold at church on Sunday, can I get an AMEN?! Amen, sister!
I bought this little sweater at a thrift store and the scarf is also thrifted and my shoes are no longer available; however, I’ve linked some items that are similar for you below in case you’re looking for something similar. When I know what to look for, thrift stores are a great way to buy quality items like this Ralph Lauren sweater at a much much much more sensible price. Listen, ain’t nobody gonna derail our financial goals and I know the struggle is real right now to keep up with the latest influencer (probably myself included). My hope is that I would more than anything give you tools and information to help you build a better wardrobe with intention. But sister, I know it is so hard now that everyone and their cousin is taking up this Instagram gig. Just know when you are scrolling down the feed this is true: You are loved and worthy because of what Jesus did on the cross for you. Nothing could ever add or take away from your worth. No clothes, status, fame, position, follower count. However, I am all about dressing this gorgeous body God gave us in a beautiful manner because I think it is an extension of worship to God to take care of what he so carefully made. You and I are made in HIS beautiful image. So it only makes sense to dress like the princesses we are, mkay!? Okay! But let’s do our best to keep intentionality behind how we spend the money God places in our hands. And to ask God for the strength to only spend the money we can actually afford on the things we truly need and wants, with savings in our arsenal, not credit cards.
I believe God can really help us to feel less like FOMO and more like, peace even when we don’t “measure up to her, live the life similar to her, look like her, wear the same things as her” Peace in knowing he made us just as we are and that is good enough. You are loved more than you can possibly imagine! Thank you for stopping by! I love you so much! I believe in you and the best part of you does too!
