This shirt is a staple in my eyes! I believe a good striped shirt will get you through so many outfits. I love that now I have a black and white one, and this red and white in my collection!
You might think I’m being presumptuous by this sweatshirt. I believe that I am God’s favorite daughter. Okay, I said it! But so are YOU!! I couldn’t pass this one up when I was shopping the site! I love love love love the oatmeal color. The inside is insanely soft! And it fits so nice!
I’ve always said that my best style-self is when I’m comfortable. My skin is super sensitive so I’ve learned to choose clothing that is going to support my sensitive skin. I’m no longer as anxious as I used to be, but when I feel anxiety the laaaaaaaast thing I want is to be wearing things that are pinching, itchy or just plain painful. There was once upon a time when I compromised looking cute in clothes that weren’t well suited for me. But no more I say, to uncomfortable clothes!! The only problem was that I either looked like I was going to my quinceanera or like I had no job and couldn’t afford clothes. There was no in-between in my style. I didn’t know how to dress casually sophisticated. I’m actually still learning and would love any tips from you if you have any!
But I feel like I’ve moooooved the needle a little into dressing casually in a way that still is acceptable when other humans need to see me. Enter my favorite brand I discovered on my journey to dressing like chic-casual. I discovered Sub_Urban Riot because I saw their incredible joggers on an Instagramming woman I used to follow. She did casual right and she taught me a lot. I am so happy I pulled the trigger and bought their joggers and to me, the price seemed very high for pants…. that I could possibly find at Walmart or Target for a fraction of the cost. But I decided to invest in my future. My cozy, casual, and cool-cat future. When my joggers arrived I jumped with glee because not only did the fit is absolutely wonderful to this 5’1” frame! True to my size (I wear a size small in the joggers for reference) but they were also absolutely fuzzy and soft on the inside, not hot or itchy! They have pockets. Yes, I said it, pockets. You know that ups the game on any article of clothing! AND they are tapered and fit snug on your calf wich to my small frame gives a great elongating element! Now that I own 3 pairs in different colors I can say they are my favorite jogger of all time. They have been washed over and over and over and over again and a year later they hold true to the color (the navy ones for me are slightly fading and it’s mainly because of how often I was them) but the gray ones are in such great condition. I truly don’t even say to spend more money when I believe you can save yourself otherwise. If you are in the market for joggers and tees I would say consider this brand. They make adorable pieces that stand the test of time and style!
These are absolute basics you’ll wear over and over again, especially this three-pack of white, gray, and black tee- with a little edgy rip on the neck. It really is so fun to take a brand that I’m in love with it and share it with you. I hope you enjoy the post! Thank you again for reading. ANd thank you to Sub_Urban Riot for sending me your fantastic products to share with my tribe!
