LET'S TALK STYLE:
I don't know about you, but I LOVE wearing an adorable outfit that is super comfortable. Nothing pinching, nothing to worry about, nothing giving me bleeding blisters. So I do love an outfit that is summer comfy but yet styled. I love pairing a soft, light sweater with shorts and you can decide what you feel for your shoes. I could see this with cute little flat candles, dare I even say this could go with heels? Yasssss, it can! But today I chose some very comfortable sneakers!

FROM MY HEART:
I love you. Don't ever think you're alone in what you're feeling. I pray that you'd be reminded today that God has your back! That you are precious and cherished. I hope you understand that you are special and have a unique purpose. If it doesn't feel like you're here for a reason, it's a lie! If you're a creative type, I hope that you have time to watch my video I posted on Youtube yesterday, It's linked above on the gray button!
I was talking to my five-year-old about some naughty behavior she's been having lately. I think she's going through a growth spurt and she's not acting like herself. After disciplining her, she wanted to go hide in a corner and cry. I saw it instantly, the shame she felt from the bad behavior. I grabbed her gently and placed her in my arms. I rocked her back and forth and caressed her hair. I told her that she could do nothing to get away from my love.
I am just a human momma, and my love falters much. If I could love this little girl to first of all discipline her poor behavior and then comfort her afterward and tell her that I love her no matter what, imagine how much more God does that for us! It was a great visual of God's love toward us. Hide after bad behavior. Pretty much what I do each time! I run and hide from God because of the shame and guilt I feel. I feel ashamed of coming close to him in times when my behavior is not matching to his goodness. Well, guess what? I will never be perfect! There will always be times when I fail and make wrong choices. BUT I can have the assurance that I CAN RUN TO HIM AND NOT HIDE IN THOSE TIMES. That he takes me back and comforts me through my pain and shame and sorrow of my bad behavior. He forgives me and restores me. He loves me through my bad choices and then his light shines in the DARK places of my soul, and I am reminded that I am not my mistakes. I gain a sense of his love and it brightens my mood! Thank you for reading! May you run to him at all times. He will receive you no matter what. Believe me, if anyone could have chased him away, it would have been me!
