FROM MY HEART:
So for some time now I have been experiencing growing pains like I mentioned above. I seriously feel for you if you're in a season of growth (any kind of growth)! I was at a spin class the other day. And by other day I mean, mooooonths ago! And it was my first time going to one in a long time. I mean I had been to one, years ago and never went back because of how HARD it is aaaand because cycling has never really been  my thing. I fell off my bike while I was standing waiting to cross the road, a couple years ago! Just to give you some perspective of my skill in bike riding. My husband laughed so hard and I believe felt a little embarrassed to be "ridding" , with me! But such is life. We aren't all gifted in ALL areas.

I went to the spin class because I wanted a challenge and get a great workout in! As I settled into the rhythm of it, the teacher said, "Turn up the intensity guys, let's go for five minutes, hard!"  So I turned my dial on my bike to, hard core resistance, and cried inside because of the pain my lungs! But then after the five minutes were over, we would turn the intensity way down and just coast on by! The lightness of the pedals felt so good. It felt like I could go on forever at that pace, like my legs were flying! No resistance! However, deep down, I knew that  I probably wasn't getting as good a workout as when I felt like passing out! I knew that my muscles were not getting stronger in that gear.

Same is with life. I have to resolve that it's going to be full of INTENSE "five minutes" and LIGHT "five minutes" over and over and over and over and over and over, (do you get my point? )again.  Instead of resisting those intense moments I am going to be grateful for the growth opportunities  God can bring out of difficult situations and then be soooooooo grateful when I am coasting down an easy season!

I love you so much where ever you're at, know you are enough and can do this season!
