Happy Friday my loves! How are you? Oh, my word, I woke up with so much excitement today, I have a really fun event coming up that is going to be a blast and my heart is so full. I am looking forward to sharing it with you and giving you all the details!
I wore this little combo the other day and felt so delightful! I've always been a fan of throwing a jean jacket over a summer dress. I believe in the quintessential power of a denim jacket! I had been looking for a great one for a while now and ended up finding this particular one at Crossroads; so It inspired me to post a blog with all my favorite denim jackets from around the internet, for you to enjoy a Denim Round-up!
Did you know that the first denim jacket was invented circa 1880 by Levi Strauss? That's longevity for ya! They were designed to be a breathable utility garment for cowboys and other laborers. In the 50's they became a Rebel staple! So if you're in a rebellious, nonconformist mood, let your jacket do the talkin'!
The more I grow in the knowledge of styles and fashion I conclude one thing, classics are classics for a reason. They just work with so much and can add to an outfit and lift it up immediately.
