How To Layer A Blazer In The Winter (Featuring My Fanny Pack)
Hello, loves! How are you!? Oh, well, I am doing good, thank you for asking!
I will say one funny thing. I haven't worked out in a LONG time. Yesterday, I had a bit of energy, so I did a few pushups in my room. I. Am. Very. Sore. LOL It is so funny how your body just gets used to one thing and it takes hardly any effort to feel the consequence of a few "push ups".
LET'S TALK STYLE :
I got CRAZY with this outfit! I just got this blazer at Zara for $40! I love shopping when the sales are legit! I feel so good when I get a great deal. I wanted to wear this adorable little blazer but I wanted it to POP. So I threw a vibrant colored shirt on top of a white dress shirt. It felt very frumpy, so I did a little knot on the side. Sometimes you just have to get funky, with it! I love that getting dressed is like finding that extension of what you're feeling that day!

FROM MY HEART:
There are so many things fighting for our attention in this world, that sometimes the juggling act seems too much to withstand.
I know for myself, the art of balance has been harder than squeezing a pimple that's not ready, if you know what I mean. I have been learning a lot lately. I don't know what I'm being prepared for, but I'm definitely feeling the resistance of a heavy weight championship. Every day, I am burdened to fix my attention on a billion different problems and even when it's not a problem, it seems like I have to make decisions on so many things, things like, what kind of toppings I should put on my frozen yogurt and such. Pretty intense, ya? I know! No, but seriously, there are so many thoughts that go through my head about whether I'm a good enough at this or that, I'm constantly trying to do the best at all of the demands in my life, but more often then I'd like to admit, I drop the ball on something. It doesn't feel good to be really good in one area of life and know that you're failing royally in all other aspects. There has to be a way to have balance without burnout.
Here is the bottom line of what I've learned recently about balance. IT ISN'T POSSIBLE. Not on my own strenght and not as a quick fix all, problem solved, type of solution, for an extended period of time. God HAS to be at the center of ALL my balancing tricks and I have to actively balancing, as the day goes on. My life will never be 100% balanced. It will be a balancing act for the rest of my life, God and I, working on each area of my life, so that I might not gravitate to one more heavily than the other and so that I would find the peace that my soul desperately seeks. Jesus has to be at the core of my life and in him, I will find balance in my day. The balance I gain today in God's strenght, WILL not carry over to tomorrow's journey, and I have to utilize the word of God as an armor to shield me when negativity and bad thoughts are flooding my mind. I have to bring all my adventures, people, possibilities under the sovereignty of God and consult with Him to see if I should take up any new "ANYTHINGS" in my life. He will guide my steps and keep me from going too far into either direction. Okay love, I leave you with that. I hope you find the peace that your soul craves and that you give yourself grace as you're figuring this life out. I love you and I hope you have a bal....,peaceful day!
