3 Ways To Wear A Double Breasted Jacket | (Fall Fashion) 2017 Trends
It has been so much fun getting inspired this Fall 2017 season. I don't think there is a better time to experiment with a new trend than now! One of my favorite ways to experiment with trends is to pick up some of the items I"m excited to try at a second-hand store. I am always a fan of paying less for the trend than I would on my basic wardrobe necessities. That's a little #LibTip for you there!
I have always loved jackets. I've gravitated to them in stores all the time. I love how you can take a double-breasted jacket and pair it with a feminine blouse and the juxtaposition of the two makes for great style! The cool part is that you don't have to style the jacket with hardly any other bells and whistles, you can stay within your basics, and the jacket does all the talking. I, of course, did a pop of red here because it's me and I love my a pop of red, what can I say?
Here Are 3 Ways You Can Wear A Double Breasted Jacket
- You can take the jacket and button it.
- You can cape the jacket (put it around your shoulders without putting your arms in)!
- You can wear it open and show the amazing blouse/shirt you've paired underneath.
How To Layer Fall Styles | Libier On Good Day
Love, my Monday encouragement to you is to design your life in a way that you get excited to wake up each day. You were born for a time such as this. You are here for a reason this very season. You are needed and my hope is that you are encouraged that you are not what you wear, rather, you are "A chosen woman, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession that you might declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9) However, what you wear makes you behave in a certain way. I know when I stay in my PJ's I am not as efficient as when I put on an outfit I feel lovely in! So let's treat our bodies with love and respect and dress that body God gave us in the most glorifying way. You know God made you, so you can shout his praises when you say, "You've created me and I can delight in myself!" I hope you know you're beautiful. I hope you know you're enough. I hope you know you are wanted. Have a beautiful week!
