I believe that these ten Spring Fashion Trends of 2022 are ones that you’ll actually want to wear this year! These, in my humble opinion, are the most wearable for us, every-day gals like you and me. Listen let’s make a runway down our kitchens and have fun with our closets. Why do we have the stuff anyway, if we aren’t going to play some along the way! I grew up too fast and need to remind myself even at almost 40, I still get the delight of playing with my clothes!
The Bridal White Look Trend
I am a huge fan of white. Even when it distresses me when I stain it while eating chocolate or I spill my coffee on it! Listen, white dressing isn’t for the faint of heart! But trust me, stains come out and if I can overcome my terror of ruining a white garment (recovering perfectionist over here) so can you! I am a big fan of products that help stains come out! I think white feels so fresh and it can really make you feel peaceful. I have very little white in my closet right now, so this is my major priority to fill with some options from stores that are affordable because this is a garment that can unfortunately stain on the armpits or get stained from a spill, I try to go with items that aren’t an investment! Unless it’s a suit or a blazer!

2. The Bold Color Trend
Bold colors are IN for Spring 2022 my friend. Yes they are and they are EVERYWHERE! No matter where you like to shop trust me that if you like the bold color trend, you’ll have a plethora of opportunities to welcome it in your closet! I will say that for me a MONEY SAVING TIP is bring in a trend with an accessory and that’s it. If I don’t really think that this color is really going to fit well in my well curated naturals anchoring wardrobe, I’ll make the trend come in as an accessory. It’s less of a commitment and less dollars wasted. You feel me?! Girl, we’re trying look cute up in here, but also be smart and make wise decisions to support our life and family!

The trench is a staple that is always trending because of it’s simple, casual and majestic way of making any outfit feel extra special without feeling overbearing or too hot or too much! I feel like this is a trend I’m happy to be trending and I love to have a beige, gray and red one in my own closet!

4. The Fanny Pack Trend
Listen, my seven-year-old self is vibing right now. OH how I wishhhhhhh you could see me sporting my fanny pack of the 90’s ! Darn disposable cameras with their inability of a photo cloud. I don’t know if we even took pictures of me wearing a fanny pack when I was young but we have taken some now! I think they are so cute and there’s a trendy and chic looking one for you my friend if you’re into them as well. I love them worn around the waist but also across the chest. I feel so young and free!

5. The Bold Suits Trend
I feel like the bold suit trend is by far one of my favorites! As far as my closet goes, I only have a pink suit and I am so excited to start bringing in some bold colors so I can feel like a happy highlighter! What color is your jam??

6. The Ivy (Preppy) Look
Preppy vibes will always be my favorite way to dress. I think it’s my alter-ego that would’ve smashed college had I had money to go! LOL I would’ve been so ready in my skirt and cardigan. This is a sweet way of adding some staples into your closet that you won’t regret. I love having a silk button down like this so much. It’s a piece that I wear over and over again! And if you don’t necessarily like the color of my skirt you can think of different colors and patterns to add that suit your style!
P.S. I can’t wait to watch Clueless with my girls! It is a movie that I always feel like I pull from for fashion nuggets of gold!

I don’t know that I love a color more than lilac, Oh wait yes I love sea foam green more, but after that, lilac is my second favorite color! I feel like it looks soft, feminine yet sophisticated! 8. The Tweed Trend
Tweed has my heart and it always has. The first time I ever laid eyes on a Chanel tweed skirt and jacket set I remember how my heart stopped a beat. I don’t know what twee is actually made out of but I do know this. When I think of fancy ladies, I think of tweed. hahaha So thank God for this trend because brands other than Chanel are making this cute and a girl who’s into savings is really excited to save some money while looking all kinds of fancy! This Kate Spade dress is reasonable priced and has fantastic quality! It fits very nicely and is all I needed for Easter, Mother’s day coming up!

9. The Faux Leather Jacket
I have always had one of these in my closet but until I styled this particular look, I never really liked wearing it! I think it’s the juxtaposition of the dress!! I love how cool a faux leather jacket makes us feel! Bring them out if you have them hidden and try to pair it with the most feminine of dresses!!

10. The Sequence and Metallics Trend
I am a five year old when it comes to anything shinny and sparkly! Glitter is my best friend and I will hands-down be interjecting the sequence and sparkly and metallic trend into my style vibes this Spring, especially in small doses, like with a shoe such as the Jimmy Choo Bing 100MM. Friend, if you love all things shinny like me, this is your season! Take out your sparkles and wear them responsibly! Don’t go blinding people in the sunlight!
