Hello, beloved friend! How are you today? I am feeling so rejuvenated. It rained in Sacramento yesterday and my soul rejoiced in it so much so that I ran out into the rain in my backyard to feel the droplets on my skin. It felt like a childish move but made my heart and my 9-year-old daughter happy. I dared my daughter to go run into the rain because ironically she was in her bathing suit and she did, and I thought well I need a refreshing shower as well! We both got soaked and my heart could not be more grateful for simple things like rain.
Happy almost Fall! If you’re anything like me you might be super excited for this new season of colder weather. I know for me the Summer routine is over and I’m ready to transition all my self-care items; like body care products, hair care, makeup, and skincare to a Fall and Winter edit that suits my needs for my wellbeing, skin, and hair’s health coming into these colder months. My personal skin is dry in the winter so I gear up and level up my hydration starting now so that my skin’s barrier can withstand those colder harsher months.
And who doesn’t love a fresh start? I love making my space feel a little cozier and inviting as this time comes around. Part of my self-care is doing my skincare and my makeup every day so I enjoy putting away all the things I loved in Summer and I pull out my Fall and Winter favorites for my beauty routines! Fall + Winter LANEIGE Lip Mask Favorite Flavors

Lip care is one of my top priorities every day of my life, but in the Fall and Winter, it maximizes because I hate the feeling of chapped or dry lips. I can’t handle it and it brings me so much joy to give you LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask in their new release flavors for Fall 2022! Pumpkin Spice limited edition flavor. It is pumpkin and spice alright! I love that it has just enough of the scent to make you excited to apply, but not overbearing as you wear it. If you’re a lover of that flavor you’ve literally hit the jackpot of lip hydration and yumminess galore!
Listen, my personal favorite is the Vanilla flavor they have from a few releases ago. That to me is like heaven. It’s the flavor I gravitate toward when it’s Fall and Winter. LANEIGE also came out with Peppermint for the Holiday if that is a flavor you like. Don’t forget these are incredible stocking stuffers or gifts for your friends! I’ve never had anyone not enjoy the creamy, hydrating, and absolutely delightful formula of this lip mask on their lips! A game changer if you ask me!
This is what I use ALL day long as my lip product of choice to hydrate my lips but this is especially good to put on as you do your makeup and take off when you’re ready for lipstick. It preps the lips so nicely for an even and smooth application for those Matte and dryer formulas of lipsticks we gravitate towards this time a year!
Fall + Winter Primer + Setting Spray

Primers and Setting sprays are the beauty products I wasn’t really sure I needed in my makeup routine until I found ones that transformed the way my makeup lasted, looked, and felt thought out the day! Especially when you have a long day with your kids or need a little more longevity and life from your foundation for a special occasion day. A wedding, a prom or date night, or even TV appearances for me to red carpet events for some! Setting sprays can really give a skin-like finish to your makeup and seal it up for longer! My personal favorite setting spray is, Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Makeup Setting Spray!
Primers and setting sprays can really extend the wear of your foundation and make it look like skin! I’ve linked our favorite primers and settings spray below. Just make sure you ask yourself what is most important for you in a primer. Hydration, Matte-like finish, or pore reduction?

Fall + Winter Makeup Eyeshadow Palettes
I love eyeshadows that are easy to blend, creamy, and are easy to apply. It’s my quest to wear less and less eyeshadow as I get older. One, because it’s crazy most days and my time is limited and eyeshadow is the product that I focus on the least. And two, because I am wearing less intense makeup as I’ve become more minimal in my style. I feel like I feel and look more classic and youthful if I don’t do a tremendous smokey eye all the time. Call me an eyeshadow minimalist but that doesn’t disqualify me from giving you the best eyeshadow pallets for you to play with and experiment with if you’re still much into the eyeshadow life!
I have curated my ALL-TIME favorite eyeshadow palettes I feel to be super fun for Fall and Winter! So you can create as many beautiful eye-looks as your heart desires!
I like sticks that make things a little easier to apply and I’ll do a later post and video on my favorite one-and-done eyeshadows. But just because we are in fall; I will say this Cinnamon long-wear cream eyeshadow stick from Bobbi Brown is hands down the best Fall Shade to add even if you’re like me and you don’t do much on your lids and if you like brown colors for your eyes, this one is gorgeous! It is creamy doesn’t budge and it’s the best color!

Fall + Winter Lipstick Colors
It’s no secret that lipsticks have been one of the best inventions of all mankind. Am I right? Listen, sis. You and I have both experienced the intense drama that is putting on the best red lipstick to finish out a classic makeup look.
Or to be surprised after trying on an intense color like this Gucci, Velvet Matte Lipstick in Janet Rust and be like, dang girl, you look good!
Or swiping on your all-time favorite Nude lipstick that just works for your skin tone and feels so hydrating and nourishing, like this, Shiseido bamboo nude gel lip balm!
Lipstick has the power to transform our mood! And Here are all the ones that made it into my Fall Edit from many I get the honor and pleasure to try and test out. I hope this is helpful to you as you’re trying to find the right shades and colors for your lipstick collection and arsenal to add that right vibe or moody edge to your Fall and Winter makeup routine!
Fall + Winter Bronzer (Cream & Powder)

Bronzer is just the thing we need to brighten the fading Sumer-tanned face while we are in Fall and Winter. I love doing a cream contour and then finishing off the look with a powder bronzer! You don’t have to contour if you don’t want to, especially for an easy everyday look. But I’ve linked some of my favorite stick contour products that make it so easy and are travel friendly!
Fall + Winter Foundations
When it comes to Fall and Winter foundation. I recommend trying out something that is a Natural finish or a natural Matte makeup foundation like this Dior Forever foundation. They have great finishes that suit the Fall and Winter season. If you love the dewy life you can still use your radiant foundations that leave a glow because you can always use loose powder to set the parts you want to make matte!
It’s Fall and Winter but your skin should still feel healthy, bouncy, and alive! If you like a full coverage matte foundation you can try Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation. If you like a dewy skin finish, try L’Oreal Radiant Serum Foundation, or for a lightweight foundation of your dreams; try, Charlotte Tilbury’s Light Wonder Foundation (my personal favorite!).
If you struggle with acne and you want to try a new foundation that has taken my heart try; When Life Gives You Lemons Foundation ( a little goes a long way). And for a special occasion or feeling like you want the red carpet feels, try Dior’s Airflash skin Airflash Spray Foundation, spray some on the back of your hand and apply it with a brush. It’s a beautiful velvety and smooth finish. Make sure to shake all your foundations before you apply and it’s super helpful to use a damp beauty blender to blend it all out!
Fall + Winter Concealers
Concealers that hydrate the eye and make it so you have the least creasing possible are my edit for you. My ultimate favorite concealers in order of love are as follows.

Face powder is the star of the show in my book. This is going to make or break your base game! If you pick something that is too heavy, you’ll end up aging yourself and find new wrinkles you didn’t even know you had by mid-day.

Done in a small dose, these pressed or loose powders can set your foundation and make your makeup look so pretty! Smooth out pores and make you feel polished!
Fall + Winter Blush + Highlights
Blush is the thing that makes me smile each time I swipe a beautiful and fitting color to my cheeks that compliments my outfit or the mood I’m going for!
I don’t know about you, but for the Fall and Winter months, I tend to gravitate toward powders and not cream blushes. This Fall + Winter blush edit is my favorite punch of color that looks so nice during this festive and warm and cozy season!

One of my favorite parts about being a woman is putting on mascara. Is that the funniest or saddest thing you've ever heard? Well, it’s true! These mascaras below are ones that have been tested through my rigorous editing process. I cry a ton and have allergies. So my eyeballs get wet continuously and if a mascara can handle my lifestyle! Girl, it’s a good one!

When it comes to Fall And Winter hair, I feel more inspired to do a nice blow-dry or put my hair down and style it; because it’s not so stinking hot anymore! Having a hair dryer that is efficient like this dyson supersonic is amazing!! It is fast drying, it doesn’t damage hair as much as other dryers because it doesn’t have extreme heat and it was engineered for different hair types. Nail trends are some of my favorite to pin on my pintrest account. I feel so excited when I go to the nail salon and request my next manicure. There’s something to me so satisfying when I look down at my clean and well manicured hands. It sends so many self-care vibes to my core. Anyone else? LANCOME Makeup 2022 Fall + Winter
LANCOME is one of my all-time favorite brands. It’s the brand that my heart rejoices over when I can open a PR package from them because as a little immigrant Mexican girl I remember going to the mall with my mom and looking at all their amazing products and thinking, “One day I’m going to get to buy one of these, good-smelling-compacts.” Anyone else? Well, they have been one of my favorite mascaras, the Monsieur Big Mascara! And I feel like we are going to see some amazing things from them this Holiday Season. Dior Makeup 2022 Fall + Winter
Dior is one of my favorite luxury makeup brands. They have stolen my heart with their beautiful highlighter and the Addict Lip Glow I used on a daily basis in the Summer. It has been one of my favorite lip products of all time, but when it comes to Fall and Winter lipsticks, glosses and tints I tend to gravitate toward a creamier formula that feels more hydrating. Or a finish like Matte or Satin! Are you the same? If you have the same lipstick desires as my friend here are all the ones I feel you might really enjoy reaching for in your colder months seasons!
Dior just came out with lipstick with a refillable couture case! These seem so right on for any Holiday parties you might be invited to close out 2022! You can bet this formula will offer extra hydration with its 90% natural origin formula and the website promises this will give you six hours of color and shine! it contains jasmine wax and plum oil, which help deliver the lipstick's vibrant color, hydration, and glossy shine.
Below is a Dior edit of my personal favorites from Dior!!! I kid you, not these have been on serious repeat and some are deemed to be my ultimate favorites, like the Dior Highlight in 01 colors. It’s been my most (often only) used highlighter of the last 5 years! Or maybe more! It’s so beautiful and totally worth the save!
