BIG NEWS & My Lash Extensions From, Amazing Lashes

Friends. This past week I had the privilege to get my eyelash fill at Amazing Lashes In Elk Grove. I will tell you a little secret. I am a little in love! Great timing!

I haven't been able to blog much or let alone do a full face of makeup, for almost three weeks now! My little girl started Kindergarten, so I am working towards setting a peaceful and well-run environment for my home. I want my first fruits to start with my relationship with God, then it be my husband, then my kiddos, then everything else! If I mess with that order, things get wonky and life doesn't seem to be as peaceful or even as satisfying.  BIG NEWS!! I am writing a book and putting a lot of energy into that. I am also trying to focus a lot more of my time into getting better at singing and piano and seeing what God has planned for me in that. To be truly honest with you, performing is my passion. So I want to jump into a season of growth in the areas that are dear to me!  It's with excitement that I announce that I will be taking a little break from the fashion side of things on my blog until I accomplish my book being finished and ready for sale. I know that I can't spread myself so thin that I end up burnt out. Or even worse, not truly being joyful in the wonderful things that God has given me this season of life. I will still be blogging, mostly about my experience with the writing the book! And there will always be a quick photo of my outfits on my Instagram if you're interested! I hope you still enjoy this blog that will be from every place of my heart!! Thank you so much for your love and support!!

Back to the lashes, they came in with amazing timing because I on the days I don't want to do my makeup, I feel like a million bucks!  The few occasions I have worn makeup these past three weeks, they've rocked even more! They look so luxurious! The process is two hours long at the first appointment, so I just prayed and took a nap! Then the fill could last about thirty minutes to an hour depending on how many they have to put in. If this is something that is in your budget and you're interested in, I highly recommend it! They take some maintenance as you need to be gentle with your eye area and follow their directions to wash them twice a day, promptly, but it's totally doable and manageable!
