Spring and summer are an excellent time to bring out your cream blushes, or discover some new ones! A blush with a creamy consistency for your cheeks creates a Dewey and hydrated look. These bouncy and subtle hints of hues on your cheeks will create a fresh and natural skin finish. You can apply them with your fingers or a slanted brush.

Wait to apply any powders to the skin until you’ve applied all your cream bases!

Boost your glow and dewiness by exfoliating your skin every other day (or weekly if you’re just starting out) with a chemical exfoliant. Remember skin is best when it’s exfoliated and hydrated! It starts with your skincare! Don’t ever skip out on washing your face at night or applying sunscreen daily!

Tips for applying concealers

Start with less product and only hit the dark areas of the under-eye area!
Use a beauty blender to apply concealer as it will even out the product and melt it into your skin!
Set with a little bit of translucent powder!

Is anyone out there a fan of a good mascara!? I think applying mascara is one of my favorite steps in my makeup routine! We are done with that! I’ll tell you, I am a faithful fan of the mascaras below because they just do their job so well. Mascara application tips

Warm your mascara with your body (I put it in my blouse by my armpit, hahaha) while you are doing your makeup for an easier application.
If you mess up and get mascara over your lids let it dry completely, and then, with a cotton swab gently go back and forth to take it off! Magic!
